7/1: Knock knock—who’s there? National Joke Day has arrived!  Join us at 10am for Joke Telling.  7/2: Father Adams will be holding Catholic Mass at 10:30am.  Thank you for joining us, Father Adams 7/3: “No one is born a great cook.  One learns by doing.” Cooking Club will be making “Star Spangled Brownies” at 10am.  Who else can’t wait to try those? 7/4: “Home of the Free Because of the BRAVE”.  Happy 4th of July! Have a safe and fun day.  We are doing Patriotic Sing Along at 1:30pm, History of July at 2:15pm, and Flag BINGO at 6pm.   7/5: Manicures and Music will take place at 1:30pm.  What colors will we chose today? Something bright and cheerful, maybe.  7/7: We are starting the day with Sunday Devotions at 10am then this afternoon the beautiful Hymn Singers will be here at 3pm.  It is going to be a GREAT day!  7/9: The adorable Pet Therapy Dogs will be in the building today at 10:00am.  We love having visitors!  Once you have seen the Dogs, head to the Hawkeye Room for Adult Coloring at 10:45am.  7/10: It is National Pina Colada Day.  You better believe, we will be having some Fun in the Sun while having a Pina Colada at 3pm! Yum! 7/16: We plan to see a movie at Marcus Theater today around 1:15pm.  What should we go see?   7/17: Pastor Hartwig will be visiting at 2pm this afternoon which we are so grateful for.  Following we will be having Popsicles in the sun around 3pm.  What a nice relaxing day! 7/18: Thirsty Thursday is starting at 3pm in the Hawkeye room.  We will save you a glass! Cheers! 7/19: Crafts are happening at 1:30pm today.  We are trying our hands at Jewelry making this afternoon.  7/21: Pastor Lee Singers will be joining us at 1:30pm.  Come hear their beautiful voices! 7/22:  BINGO!! We are heading to the Johnson County Fair for Bingo at 1pm! We plan on having an awesome afternoon! 7/23: We are so blessed to have The Ding-A-Lings Bell Ringers joining us at 2pm.  We LOVE bell ringing performances! 7/25: You don’t get old…you get BETTER!  Just enjoy the ride and make awesome memories! Our monthly Birthday Party starts at 3:00pm! Join us in celebrating all of our wonderful July Birthdays.  7/29: TAKE US OUT TO THE BALL GAME! We are heading to Cedar Rapids for a Kernals Baseball Game 10:30am.  What could be better!
